sti pretender Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 As most of you are aware Hypertech are hosting a charity RR day on the 14th June 2009. http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=127908 Obviously Duncan and the team will all be busy sorting out the garage side of the day but with SIDC, MLR and the Skyline Clubs all turning up the place will be pretty busy. SIDC being such a charitable community I suggest we could probably round-up a couple of helpers to assist with parking and getting the cars for the RR arranged. The majority of help will be needed before the Dyno runs as most people will arrive before the start. Don't worry your not going to be stuck directing traffic all day. I will post further details closer to the time but an indication of volunteers numbers would be good. 1. STI Pretender 2. Grant (STI Pretender's friend) 3. Thanks in advance for your help. Robert Should point out anything to do with cars taking part PM or talk to PaulC555 as he is sorting this out.

micra_wrc Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 how about trying to set up a tea/coffee/cake stall? it gives folk a place to hang out while waiting around and anything sold will go towards the cause - "the Scottish Armed Forces to support injured soldiers and their families on return from combat" we did this at one of the RR's (think it was Dalgety Bay) and it worked well. We had a big urn of water, mugs, tea/coffee/milk etc and some of the ladies did some baking... if Rosie is well enough to rattle up a batch of her caramel shortcake i reckon it will go down a treat i've already got something planned so wont be able to make it. 1.
