anyone know of this user, purchased some wheel bearings off him about 1.5 months ago, paid for them and never heard much from him, meant to of been sent a couple of weeks ago and again nothing, done a claim on paypal and they couldn't retreive any money, think he/she is based around the edinburgh area.........last time i buy on forums......any help would be great

last contact was april 27th and he said he was posting them the next day, and he's not been on for a while?? plenty of posts and seemed genuine was just hoping someone knew him and could maybe tell him to hurry up and send them.........or refund.......

I have not seen Johhny for a couple of years, however he was always into the scene and attended most meets and we had a couple of drives to knockhill together, always came across as very trustworthy mate.

However no excuse for not being in touch.

have you not got a phone number m8 thats why i always ask on a forum if the person is known by any onther members it,s a nightmare buying now a days over a forum you have to run a credit check on peep,s user name

i know Johnny through this club and he's a reliable fella.

dont have a number for him though

could be something simple, like it was posted when he said and its gone awol in transit, or he's no internet access and he's been trying get hold of you.

have some patience and keep trying.

unfortunately i have no other way of contacting him, thought he was ok as his posts were high, never had a problem before, have done a claim on paypal but they were unable to get anything back, so i guess the account must of been emptied........its been 2 months now since it all started, just quite gutted that this has happened as i always thought most people were trust worthy on forums.....will let yous know if theres any update but i wouldn't think so, lesson learned and a address and phone number will be required before buying anything else......
