lumsden26 Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 hey folks took a trip up Scotland over a weekend 4,5,6th of April and seen a few scooby's on the way up who flashed and waved so just thought i'd stick up a few pics. Apple cross was the first destination via Ben Nevis. Isle of skye on the Sunday and Back by Inverness and the Cairn Gorms on the Monday total of 850 miles. we had a convoy including a Lotus elise, Mitsibishi evo 4 a 1000cc fazer motor bike and the old faithful Scooby.

Davie
ANDYJDMSTI Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 nice!!.........hope the roads were nice and clear for you!
Gee Wr1 Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Was out for a run up the ullapool road on sunday to blow the winter cobwebs out of the car. Davie if your still up there you HAVE to take a drive round the Gruinard bay costal road its fantastic. Come back down the ullapool road & turn of at Corishallach (SP?) gorge & follow the road all the way round the coast, goes round to Gairloch then back down to Garve. Thats the route i took on sunday & its a cracking drive I'm lucky as these roads are all local to me so i'm kinda spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding where to go for a run
corsa Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Driven that road many many times and well worth it, will not be doing that run this time but will be going up to Durness and Balnakiel beach again.Even better run BTW. Just looking through some of the shots from RAF Lossiemouth and they look good, cany upload them as my vodaphone dongle doesnt allow access. D
lumsden26 Posted April 14, 2009 Author Posted April 14, 2009 yeah there are somw pretty awesome roads up there blew a few cob webs away around skye and especially on the way home thankfully never seen one police car. wasn't too bad on fuel the 850 miles cost about £150 and was defenetly worth it.
