ages ago you had at of ecu types, u8, z4, z5, etc.

the one we have is w5, auto box,

wondering if it can be swapped for eg z4 or 5 or even sti?

Dont think it will physically fit in the manual sockets, also reckon the internal make up of the ECU to be different due to things like kickdown on Auto boxes.

May be completly wrong but i have never heard of Z4, 7K or the like being fitted to an Auto WRX
