ryan_gwa
Yet again I am having trouble with the boost on my UK Turbo. The boost kicks and punches are random places along the rev range. Makes the driving not very enjoyable at all! Ive cleaned the Boost Control Solenoid twice in the last 3 weeks and it doesnt clear the problem! ECU comes up with fault 23 (MAF Circuit Open) but I think thats an old fault. Would it be worth resetting the ECU properly (plugs and fannying with the throttle way), Ive not used any cheap fuel in the last 3 months so can be that, even had Octane Booster in it for about a tanks worth? Please help as its driving me up the wall!!! Cheers, Ryan. Link to comment
ryan_gwa
May have solved the problem, apparantly if the oil level in the sump is too high it can get dragged up into the Control Solenoid. I have jsut serviced it and noticed the oil was a little high this morning, so hopefully this sorts it!!! Link to comment
