Headlight Conversion?

Hi guys, im looking into buying the impreza that mike hewison has for sale (http://www.mikehewisonautos.co.uk/car_0100.htm) It has the bug eye headlights and i was just wondering if it is an easy or cheap enough job to convert them to the headlights on the later model? Thoughts appreciated.

to do the conversion you are talking about you would need to change more than just the lights, it would need a whole front end conversion, panels, bumpers and all. not really worth it in my opinion, just buy a blobeye or hawkeye if thats the look you want

IMO the car you are looking at is a fair bit over priced given the current market, have a look at similar cars on pistonheads and autotrader to see what they are selling for right now, the market is awash with Imprezas and the a*** has fallen out of the market with the resession so there are bargins to be had out there
