SP84 Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Had a phat nite saw some gorgeous scoobys and got loads of looks going through London poping and banging LOL well done to msoc for a good nite
shiralee Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 What a brilliantly organised run out with a real great bunch of people!! Thanks evr so much and keep us imformed of any nuture events Just so all are informed..After being the lead in well what might have been the Outer Hebredes for all we knew...So spotting a Damsel In Distress..advise us to follow him...Now I being THE ONLY WOMAN DRIVER er followed but my team mates had other ideas lol I believe Col was rounding them up Nevertheless an awesome night...Hvae some pics but work tom so youll have to wait!!! This was an amazing controlled night that gave mayny people in London a bi smile Various Cars there to find and assist waifs and strays, what can I say EXCELLENT!! Ooh...but I do believe YELLOW is THE BEST COLOUR
baser999 Posted April 13, 2009 Author Posted April 13, 2009 Was a good night although it seemed the logistics of leaving Ace Cafe, getting on to the north circular then getting caught up at Hangar Lane lights inevitably meant groups being split up right at the start. Luckily me, T123vor and Dunks were following a guy who seemed to know where we were supposed to be going so he got us to the group waiting by the Albert Hall. Then went through the West End which was fun and attracted considerable attention but for whatever reason (unless it was planned) the car at the front then went over Westminster Bridge and regrouped on Waterloo Bridge. Next lead car then went through Strand u/pass and around Holborn area then back over Waterloo Bridge before conceding him and his mate didn't know where we were going! I then led along the embankment through Limehouse Link and Blackwell Tunnel but only two cars arrived at the O2 About 25 cars there, mainly groups A and B. Moral of this tale - take a co-driver who has a basic understanding of the route or can at least read the plans
scoobytibs Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 the roundabout under ground at canary wharf was excellent but could see it was accident waiting to happen hopefully nothing did ,if someone lost control didnt fancy being there crash barrier lol again a great nite nice on m.s.o.c

BLUE V LTD Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 It was a very good night out, thanks to all that went and made the night worth going. Sorry for the little de-tour at the M25 turn off wasn't to sure on which way to go round, satnav said to go clockwise, but i couldn't pass on a run through Dartford tunnel, we got there in the end. Shame you went home early Dunks, I could of gone up and down the two tunnels off Tooley Street all night long, think me and Scoobytibs did at least 3 passes. On the under ground roundabout we also thought it would on been a nasty place to loose control, but then it was a nice bit of Drifting done by Col2 at one point. Once again it was a very good night out. (Lets hope there was no film in the camera steve).
T123VOR Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 It started badly- got split up very early Then I remembered why i hate driving in London! The car didnt like the stop start either... I ended up doing a lot of it with a cosworth??? I prefer the non-london run myself but well done to the MSOC guys
