Steering Wheel

Anybody able to tell me if the STi wheel has thicker grip than the WRX one. I know they are the same diameter but from pics the STi looks chunkier.

When I fitted the STi to mine it felt a lot thicker than the WRX one.

Is that your next upgrade? Might be selling mine if your not in a rush for it. Just need to deide what one i'm going to replace it with!

When i bought my OMP wrc wheel i had to buy a boss to fit a subaru for it.

I believe the wrx and STi are the same spline size although the airbag connections are different between body shapes.

I'm awaiting delivery of a GFB quick shift, but I would also like a chunkier grip.

Might see you over the weekend and compare wheels.

I did this to my newage and the STi wheel is thicker and slightly smaller in diameter, it was a doddle to fit, even the airbag was easy, only trouble I had was finding a nice one.
