Never Too Old, First Scooby!

My Dad put down his deposit today for his first Scooby. He picks it up next week!

Its a MY03 WRX, blue - gold wheels. Absolutely mint.

He's about to get his membership on here but was so worried that he was too old at a young age of 50 something.

I'm trying to tell him otherwise...and about all of you old gits  j/k

Would love to bring him to the meets for proof that its not a young persons car

I'm still trying to convince him! Think he thinks it might be all people in their 20's & 30's!

Och no, there are more than just a couple of over-40s post here.

Although if it helps him feel more at home, we could hold a 20 min bingo slot at the next meet...

Just kidding, glad to welcome your Da to the club

Read an article which i think was on scoobynet (will try to find) about a 70+ year old who just got his new hatchback impreza sti.

He's been driving scoobies for a while now, his previous cars include a wr1 & rb320. now thats a cool grandad

You're only as old as you feel.

Age is a state of a mind.

Think young - Live young.

(Can't tell I'm 58 can you?)

Tell your dad nice one! Life's too short not to have a Scooby.

Cheers folks I've passed it on!

It was Karl's car! And he took me out a run in it last night but he got annoyed when it started raining because he didn't want to get it dirty! ;) He's actually considering buying yet another car just to run about in so he doesn't have to put miles on it. Think he wants to keep it in the garage and be proud lol

Ah well, at least you know it's gone to a good home mate!

He's already fell out with the wife about it! :D
