Had a look on the BRDevelopments website but can't see any address. Whereabouts is he based? For those that have been to see him what are the premises like? Is it an industrial unit, or shop etc. I've got a weekend away in Oxford/Cotswolds and had a feeling he may not be that far from there? Might pop in if that's a possibility, feeling bored lol!

Bob was in Swindon in 2007 when he remapped my car from his home - the invoice shows the address to be 50 Capesthorne Drive, Swindon SN25 1UR phone 0208-332 7534 email rbr@brdevelopments.com.

When I went he was very busy - he was doing 3 more remaps that day - so would suggest you perhaps call in advance as he's probably just as busy now

Normally a 2 month wait but worth it

Thanks for the replies. Wasn't after a remap, just wondered if he had a shop with some goodies in. I ended up popping down to powerstation for a look. Nice drive down and back, nice roads, great scenery, bit of sun and not too many on the road :o

did you buy anything good?

Nothing exciting! Got there a bit late, and unannounced, so they very kindly put the car up on the ramps and after taking the undertray off managed to find the rattle that has been driving me mad for about a year lol!! Don't know if you remember but I bought it out to you to stick the det cans on just in case. Red spec c. Unfortunately its the heat shield on the headers, so I'm guessing the most difficult one to get to or even get. I believe it's equal length on that one so a bit different to some but hopefully the same as the later cars and easily sourceable. At the minute I'm just glad I know what it is :o I remember you had a look round the heatshields too but you have to get right underneath for it, apparently not one of the usual suspects! Also found a small power steering fluid leak from a joint so need a new connector on the hose for that.

Car was driving beautifully coming back but had a bit of a hare and tortoise moment. Having overtaken a couple of cars a few miles down the road I pulled in for fuel, and half way through I watched a long convoy of cars going past me...... slowly lol!

oh yes I remember :o nice car

unusual to be red.

the headers are twinscroll.. not correcting you it might help source a replacement part.. I would however remove the lot and all the heat sheilds and use exhaust wrap :)

I have just had my yearly map check and tinker with Bob.

After improving the turbo response and mid range grunt, the drive home from Swindon was great! :boldblue:
