Flat Tyres

right here goes got myself some nice new cheap tyres recently 225/35x18 and in the past three weeks ive had to pump them up nearly every second day then all of a sudden they stay inflated but today coming out of work(very rocky hardcore filled road) one of tyres was completly flat couldn't pump it up with the old foot pump thought it was fecked inflated it at the garage and its still inflated!!

help

ive either got leaky rims or they aint been fitted right or could i have popped it off the rim today?

sounds like leaky rims mate used 2 see this all the time u would need 2 realy take tyres off rub the lip inside the wheel down with some emmery paper and use bead sealer when puttin the tyres back on. also check the valve centers are in tight

:D yip sounds like you need some rim sealer same thing used to happen to me with my Lexus Soarer! and it was the rim sealer!

I would come out in the morning and the tyre would be flat (only at the bottom though :driving::D)

I would go back to the garage and ask them to reseal them!

Did you get new valves fitted with the new tyres? It would be worth checking the valves too mate, just get some slightly soapy water and splash it about the valves, you could do the whole wheel/tyre rim too if you felt like it, any leak will obviously show as bubbles :D

have got two leaky rims on mine ,sometimes they stay up for a while others it a day or two.

went to quick fit to get new valve centers still the same back down checked the rims it was them,

the guy said it was against their policy to use bead sealer, will be getting wheel refurb when i get my car back :D

cheers guys been out all night in the snow with tyres in big buckets no bubbles even checked with industrial gas leak detector and cant see anything!

think ill get them checked out anyway they are getting refurbed in the summer anyway
