PR08RAD Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 sounds awesome me and mrs would love to come spectate, but cant afford the £95 entry fee just to watch. shame they dont do a donation on the gate for spectators.

PR08RAD Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I cant make this but did have it confirmed that spectators are welcome, but have to leave their cars at the entrance gate, with armed guards (beats any alarm i know of ) and then walk or get lift to main strip. Any one planning to spectate MUST send off all security details before cut off date.
granby Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Anyone know how long it will take to get to RAF Marham as gates open at 7.30, should we all meet at the Wharf at silly o'clock Sunday morning
eureka Posted February 23, 2009 Author Posted February 23, 2009 It's about 130 miles from Maidstone, and should take about 2½ - 3 hours (excluding stops). Travelling early from Dartford I reckon 2 hours, 2½ tops. plus stop at m11 services 4.30 sounds good

fudge Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 (edited) What about going up Sat and Hotel it somewhere near the venue ? That way, we will all feel a bit more "with it" driving home. I will be driving the TT up there. If I leave the car in a local car park could I jump in with someone?? Don't think I will get in with the car as my P1 was booked in? granby Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Great day if you didn't mind it being bloody windy If i'm honest i'm a little disappointed with my times, the car would accelerate fine in 1st to 4th which would get me to 127mph but as soon as i changed into 5th it was like i was hitting a brick wall and it seemed to take ages to get the last few mph's but it was the same for everyone, just for comparison my best time was 27.19 and Andy F's car did it in 7.12, 20 seconds quicker but what a machine that is The fastest top speed of the day was a amazing 198.81mph by Tweenirob in a R32 Skyline, now what would he of done if he didn't have a strong headwind
