Terry Butcher Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 (edited) A group of us are going to the Eden project from the Devon and Cornwall area. Apparently a utility bill from those two counties should get you a reduction in entrance fee from £14.50 to £5, though I have not yet checked that fact. 1 TelB 2 Scoobymad 3 Capn Jerry 4 Sharmantor 5 BaileyP1 6 Daywalker 7 A4KBS Edited January 22, 2009 by Terry Butcher

shescooby Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Ok Guys I went down there yesterday as only half an hour from me and family came to visit and wanted to go down there. We paid £12 for 2 adults and 2 kiddies, gift aided the £2 and got free entry for a year so a good deal in all. You can guess what I done lol, so am looking to come down as also done the Ice Skating (must remember to wear thicker socks) lol It was a good day So looking good I will come along too with my free entry lol Kaz

Terry Butcher Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 you are!! We are meeting at the Tamar Bridge carpark at 9:45 for a 10:00 get away. Looking for anyone else from Cornwall to join up with us closer to the project - but we need to know where.
Terry Butcher Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 I am leaving Paignton at 09:00, Tamar Bridge carpark at 10:15 and we will then meet at the Brittania Inn at St Blazey (near to St Austell on the A390) and wait till 11:15 before going to the Eden Project.
Terry Butcher Posted February 15, 2009 Author Posted February 15, 2009 8 Scoobs and 1 Civic all parked up at the Eden Project! Nice to see the new guys and gals from down Cornwall way (and Essex!!) After faffing around trying to get a group discount from the £15 per person entrance fee down to £10.70 for ten people we then found that living in Devon or Cornwall allowed us a £5 fee instead - and for a whole year!! Was a very nice day too, even the sun shone. Nice and warm in the biospheres. Apparently the blue tractors they use for the land train are very green - therefore I suppose my Scoob is also very green as it is blue!! Unlike all the others in silver and white and black, lol. Thanks for turning up folks it made for a very nice day out.
shescooby Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I have a confession Yesterday went on a mission to find the local Banger Racing that was on near the property we are buying, thought we would see if we could here the noise from the new property..... we didnt However went for a wonder down to the local Banger and Stock Car race way we ended up just standing on bank watching and time flew by and totally forgot about this event I am so gutted.
