What i would like to know is:

Have you had any problems with the alarm system fitted to the new STi's??

I'm now into my 3rd visit to try and get the problem fixed.Have had all door switches replaced, tracker unit position checked and this Saturday coming gettin alarm control box replaced.Car has no alarm and really gettin peed off now!Iam fed up with it sending me text messages saying the alarm has been activated when it is sitting less than 10 feet from where im sitting on the couch.

I had alarm problems with mine.

They were solved by Stan Palmers in Carlisle - the red light showed that the tilt sensor was faulty so it was replaced and the problem solved!

Cheers.

Hi,

I had this problem as well, I phoned Subaru direct as my garage had no idea and they sent through some docs to the garage. If I remember correctly some sensor was too close to something else and was causing the alarm to go off. I took the car into John R Wier in Perth and the changes were made and car has been fine since.
