Kevs Sti Type R New Mods

Here are a few mods we carried out on boxing day to kevs type r

all the water hoses changed ,the turbo hoses changed GFB underdrive pullys fitted earlier, new cambelt and tensioners

then we changed some suspension parts

we fitted new poly front wishbone bushes old bushes erquired pressing out with hyd /press 4tonnes req/ to remove

changed the bottom ball joints and track rod ends for roll centre adjustment kit ,to combat bump steer because of coil overs fitted

fitted new front 22mm anti roll bar and alloy drop links ,the type for sti alloy btm arms

anti lift kit fitted with bottom brace

steering rack bushes

the rear x member poly bushes fitted and subframe lock kit bolts

rear alloy drop links and 24mm rear bar fitted a few months ago, also verus race coil overs

rear x member lock was fitted here between the 2 mounting bolts

bolt covered in copperslip to aid fitment and removal if ever required

the handling has been transformed since the fittment of parts,

we have a few other mods planned for his car in the future so watch this space

Looking good Kev / Geo ,speaking of wax treatment...................i'm just waiting for the nod George you can order the anti lift kit & steering rack bushes now as i've pencilled in my 1st track outing........28th March , Kev,when's the new brakes arriving ? 1st dibs on your 4 pots.
