steveairdrie Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Recently had a dodgy set of pads on my car I only got about 5000 miles out of them. they passed a mot last tuesday and had to replace them and the discs this week. I have some brake dust on my doors anyone recommend anything to remove this?? cheers steve

I have some brake dust on my doors anyone recommend anything to remove this??cheers steve Soem people might have a heart-attack at this suggestion Stevie, but I used some Cif on a peice of raf, and gently rubbed brake dust off. I take it that other stuff didn't do the job?

C_WRX Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Reckon claying should shift it. Not sure but also perhaps Autosmart Tardis or Autoglym Tar remover might also do it?? Give me a shout if it doesn't work.
colzo Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 I would try AG Tar Remover first and leave it on for 10 -15 mins to help loosen the brake dust then clay the full panel then protect.
