Dump Valve Not Dumping

On the way home from Santa Cruise dump valve has stopped making a noise. HKS one that makes a loud blow off, had developed a slight chirp after last trackday but never thought much about it.

Car still ran fine but concerned if it isn't opening that I will be doing damage. Also can you get servicing kits for these or is it buy a new one?

Get a blanking plate on, even off boost it sounds ace, will get a wee clip up of mine once i have been mapped and able to give it some beanz.

But just now, whip the dumpvalve off and give it a good clean with carb cleaner, then a good spray with wd40 and see if that helps.

my HKS SSQV done the same too a wee while back.

took it off and opened it up, cleaned / lubricated with some spray lithium grease (says on tin for lubricating springs) from halfords,

hey presto, as good as new

I the vac hose still connected? mine did this when fitting mine. The feedback pipe was slightly to short and burst in my first drive and that exactly what it did

All sorted gave the DV a clean but vaccum hose joint had come apart.
