thewelsho Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Does anyone know were I can get a set of bolts that are required to hold the brake caliper onto the hub (or whatever it is that its attached to). I have a MY06 WRX with STi8 Brembos on the front. The NSF caliper has got one makeshift bolt holding it in place and I'd like to replace this with the proper one. I was in there this weekend replacing the bolts for holding the wheel in place but I was unable to get the bottom of the two bolts out to take the caliper off in order to remove the disk to get at the wheel-bolts. I managed it in the end without taking off the caliper, but as stated, would still like to get the proper bolts. The makeshift bolt-head appears to be chewed up somewhat, so the spanner/socker just keeps slipping off. Any suggestions for getting it off. Thanks! JW

craigdmcd Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 I've got a set of special sockets that take off chewed bolts, so I'll get it out once you have new bolts.
