anyway ive actually done something which is nice... still havent got round to doing them lightbulbs yet tho

a new strut brace on after i did some work to it and i also replaced the standard link pipe with an unresonated scorpion one which has made it haul itself up from low revs much better

also got in a hawkeye sti gearknob purely cos i wanted to do something to the inside

picture below but the red isnt as bright in real life

yeah i havent really gone hurling it round corners, but the steering does feel better in your hands not really more direct, just a more positive feel. i guess its hard to explain but you can feel it somehow

Its great on short journeys but when given a good run turning gets clunky driveshafts seem ok tho.

My lads a mechanic and we have had it up on the ramp and all seems ok till it warms up then the steering left or right gets clunky and you can feel it up the column. Hows your dog now ?

When was the power steering fluid changed last?

Pup is fine now.. Vet gave it the all clear, Thanks for asking mate

When i first put a thread on the forum Big D said check the fluid level but all ok. Might have to look into changing the fluid then does it have a shelf life ? Great news on the Pup !

Maybe the Power steering fluid is getting very hot and not working effectively... might be worth looking into some newer stuff.

Certainly worth a try not as expensive as trying other parts will let you know. He is allowed to do all his own private jobs on a saturday so will see if he is busy tomorrow.

He had allready got himself a job for saturday working on his brothers disco so maybe next sat now. Said it may be worth changing it and bleeding the system tho.
