I'm going over to surrey rolling road in the morning if anyone fancies it? J11 M25

For a little look what my power/torque is on the new one<_<

It's £35 in a groupbuy so good price

Not as good as I thought :thumbup:

370bhp

But only 345lbft torque!

Guy at slowboy reckons the boost controller isnt holding full boost for long enough going from 1.5 dropping to 1.4 then 1.25

However on the road i can hold it at 1.5 with some throttle control?!

Could it be the decat centre (ive removed 1 cat and a resonator) I added has affected the turbo performance (the back pressure?) it should be around 360lbft

Remap after Xmas just to tidy it up in that case I think

yes eboost2 boost controller

but slowboy are saying you can't just ramp up the boost without a full adjustment across the map

it's a td05 20g - standard STI pinks as far as I know- im sure the guy i bought it off said they were still standard but good for 380bhp

My Pink injectors maxed out at just under 380. But that was with an Octane booster as well.

The 20G is a BIG turbo, but for some reason the Torque never quite matches the bhp as a squared number.

I have never 'seen' anyone get over 400 from one on the Dyno, without running octane booster on a 2.0 either. Pub figures =yes!

But, I would have expected a bit more from an STI.

Chances are is that it is something simple like a weak actuator, if the Turbo was not 'brand' new when converted.
