well i had my wheels on for a coulple of weeks they looked the biz but their back off now. although they make the car feel a tad more stable. they scrubbed and made me feel noticably slower. i dinny like the scrubbing.

would still love to have black wheels with a yellow rim but it'll need to be 17". i'm on the hunt for replacement & probably going to sell the 18".

offset ? i kinda know what this is but i don't know what my off set was.

yeah fast one they scrubbed more so at the back. i have eibach pro springs on but not changed my shocks.

my new tires are scrubbed a bit. didn't want it to ware through the protective stuff round my arches.

The offset should be stamped inside the wheel somewhere. It will say something like ET48. What width of tyre is fitted to the wheel?

ET45, tires are dunlop sp sport maxx, 225/40/18.

What a shame, wheels looked fantastic. I'm surprised you got rubbing though, must unusual

I'm sure Buffalo Bill will snap them up!

so is that the right offset then?

does that not mean they will rub on mine? i'm running pretty low on Teins!

are the tyres worn with the rubbing?

If I'm not mistaken, generally, Subaru wheels have an offset of ET52 on WRX's, and STi's need an ET48 to clear the Brembos, so the ET45 is pushing the rim to the outer edge. There are a few specialist wheel dealers who can safely reduce the offset by a safe margin where sufficient material is available on the wheel. I would suggest approx 6mm would make them ideal.
