rumpleskin Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Hi all New member and new to Scooby thing. Currently use Powerstation in Tewkesbury for all my mods, but have recently heard of BR Developments. Has anyone used or know of anyone that has and if so are they any good cos i live in Cirencester so would be much closer for me Cheers
jon_hutton Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 You won't go wrong there mate. Bob Rawle is very good
jd Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 or take a trip down Plymouth to see Alan & Martyn at www.enginetuner.co.uk
rumpleskin Posted September 26, 2008 Author Posted September 26, 2008 Wot sort of capabilities do they have- and which is best rolling road or road map I seem to get mixed views on this one. Powerstation set mine up on rolling road but seems i get more power if i don't floor it. Is that the norm?
monkip1 Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 I think initial map should be doen on the rollers while the fine tuning should be done on the road But im no mapper lol.
jd Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 there are arguments for both methods, my personal opinion is that dyno first then on road to tweak. do a search on sccobynet for threads discussing the 2 methods.
