The car was imported from Japan in March 2003. I bought this car in 2007; I have owed the car for 1 year now and absolutely love the car. I am a member of www.sidc.co.uk , and www.type-ra.co.uk owners clubs and always keep my cars in tip top condition. I spent almost 7 months trying to find a good example like this one, and I do not want to part with it really. My reason for the sale is that I am looking for a house, sooner than I thought due to the drop in house prices.

Interior

The interior is in extremely good condition, with the LTD edition blue bucket seats. Only 1000 of these cars ever made, this one is number 28. The cabin is a pleasant place to be and there is no wear and tear on the seats, floor, console etc… The standard Momo steering wheel and Momo gear knob and gaiter are slightly worn due to the age of the vehicle, but nothing bad. Alpine CD player, with top spec type r speakers in the door and type s speakers in the rear. The rest of the interior is in excellent condition. There is a brand new space saver in the boot with the original Subaru bag, tools and jack.

Exterior

The body work is great, with only the usual minor stone chips, which is to be expected with a car of its age. There are two scratches in the rear left quartile, which was done by accident by BGV engineering, when fitting the new oil pump. Quoted £100 to fix the scratch. The four original alloys are slightly kerbed by previous owners, but are nothing major. I recently had the rear spoiler replaced with the Version 6 spoiler which was fitted professionally.

Engine

The second month of owning this car the oil pump failed. This ment that the bottom end was rebuilt with stronger parts see below for replacement parts:

Version 9 STI crank (stronger)

Pneumatic valves

Roger Clark oil pump (modified to allow more oil into the engine than before, stopping from it failing again.)

Timing Belt

Auxiliary Belt

Cambelt

This little lot cost me £2500, but I knew that with these parts this would not happen again if well maintained.

The engine oil has been replaced every 3500 miles, using Silkolene Pro S 10W 50 fully synthetic. And when I bought it I spent about £400 giving it a complete service. STI air filter, Subaru fuel filter, NGK Iridium spark plugs, Subaru coolant, Subaru oil filter, oil change, new battery (maintenance free), gear box oil change and brake fluid change (DOT 4). The car has always been run on shell V-power with 1/6 of the NF octane booster with every tank. All receipts to prove this.

LOL that was me issue. I have been doing some research and in this good condition i am going to start at £7200, as this is a very rare car. Will get some really good shots of the car and put it in the for sale section.
