grant@AWD Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Hi All Well i done it again thats two years back to back a subaru has won the 4wd class at crail's U.S.F.C Formally know as Ultimate Scottish Street Car and now called Ultimate Scottish Fast Car. Had a good day car was well set up running it's normall 400bhp with no changes made to car from knockhill Scottish tuning Show where i came third in the top speed drag race behind a (well fast) Evo in second and AWD's Andy-N first with the FASTEST top speed on the day. Also getting track time round KNOCKHILL for car set up for 2009 TIME ATTACK ENTRY. But to put the iceing on the cake (on same weekend as McRae Gathering to Prodrive) A subaru also won the fastest overall car on the day in the shootouts in the heavy rain (4x4 grip wins the day) So me well happy for all S.I.D.C Members and myself & ALL THE STAFF @ AWD in Perth

kloon Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Grant, you do realise Simmie will be on here shortly claiming you only won cos his start was crap do you ?
grant@AWD Posted September 3, 2008 Author Posted September 3, 2008 (edited) thank you all for kind remarks ta kloon [it's who wins that counts in the shootout's that's what makes it even better fun. It's down to car and driver and weather too. I have been in shootout's before up against other more powerfull cars and still one But the green wagon of simmie and kev's is a very quick mota 500 bhp + so over 100 bhp more than me and that show's in there exellant time's that there car put in, and i for one are well chuffed for them as both are friends of mine and AWD Motorsport and everyone here on S.I.D.C. I still have to fit my New NOS System to car but to be honest with you at the power the car has the now it's more than enough for me you should try holding on to a Garrett GT30 Powered Scooby as light as mine in rain at crail from a standing start. Ive been driving Scoobys for over 12 years but even that get's the blood flowing let me tell you.. !!!!!!!!!! Edited September 5, 2008 by grant@AWD

Hehe am just winding, just i've known Simmie for over 30 years, I know what he's like Was a good day though, distinct lack of Scoobs mind, must have been something else on at the weekend Did they get Andy's car sorted in the end ?
