2008 Sti Steering Wheel

Hi one and all,

I have just fitted the above s/wheel to my car,2002 Bugeye, it fits fine except the airbag plug is different.

What I need is, some kind person that has a New STI, to give me there VIN so that I can order the plug/loom, from my local dealer and get my airbag working again.

I hope someone can help.

just connect the wires together via another plug / solder..

Hi Simon

The plug for the airbag on the original A/B was sealed directly into the back of the A/B modual, with a connector plug about 75mm away from the A/B with an additional plug housed inside the steering wheel. You can't remove the plug from the back of the A/B as it's sealed insitu.

The new A/B has a different plug that goes straight into the back of the modual. This plug comes off the loom, and it's this plug I need to wire the new A/B in.
