scotsman Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Ever since I replaced the up-pipe on my bugeye with a STi one the CEL warning lights keeps staying on. Duncan at Hypertech fitted a 2.2K ohm (we think) resistor but the light keeps coming back on again. Duncan has checked the warning and it is from the EGT probe. I asked Andy F if he could turn it off ni the ECU but whilst he can write out the lambda sensor in the software, the EGT probe is actually a failed sensor warning and he can't remove that. Pity. Duncan didn't solder the resistor on - so I think I could do with replacing the resistor with a new one and get it soldered on. Anyone out there got a spare 2.2K ohm resistor and a soldering iron that's willing to help out? Cheers Richard.
