Streetwars Cancelled

This weekend event has been cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organisers control.

Lets hope this is a one off.

see our elderly residents are getting there own way again..............motorsport in the sw is non existant due to them moaning...

Jeez, that's annoying, it's like people who move down here next to Plymouth airport then complain about the aeroplanes eejits!

riot!! been going on for years,would be different if it were a green field site,but it's not. it WAS a noisy airfield before..................!

Its the same up here.

Mallory park now has a noise meter, so i cant run Wednesday practice with the race bike, and i cant go set up the Clio for the Cup races. have to go to Silverstone and pay silly money.

Also the Motorcross track here in Beds has been closed due to some tit building a housing estate 1 mile away 2 years ago and the new residents saying it was too noisy to have that there!!

The motorcross track has been open since 1993!!!!

We cannot assume that this is down to the neighbours as all the dates for the events are agreed prior to the year commencing.

the facts for this event, hate to disagree with you, but it may be the reason for other events being cancelled.

But do you know for certain that is why this one was cancelled?

just general motorsports events up there in the past have been cancelled.............streetwars dont no.........there will be nothing happening up there next year i bet,,

they are already in the process of planning the evnts for next year.

they will be limited to x number of events as this year, just have to wait & see what happens.

If it does arise that motorsport events are never happening up at the airfield, then they should ban the banger racing and the motocross. It will be down to us, who enjoy the events to fight to save them.

if you buy a house next to an airfield, what do you expect?

oooo it de-values the property, it didnt when you bought it in ww2 when it was active & could be bombed, so sod off. pmsl
