I have thanked her by email, but should - on behalf of the Gathering organisers - Grant, Imy and myself, do it publicly. Her email was a very unexpected surprise and a very welcome addition to our fundraising efforts. It enters totally into the spirit of the event - doing what we do for the charities with no personal reward other than the satisfaction in knowing you've helped.

This will get a mention on the Gathering site, of course, but it looks like fundraising is still going on so I won't publicise it yet - firstly to stop Sue getting swamped with orders from across the Globe (which WILL happen!) and secondly till we know the final sum raised.

Once more - our sincere thanks for going above and beyond the call of duty to support this event - and thanks to all who have purchased too.
