pmacFTO Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 (edited) Most companies can sell the domain and do the hosting but you can do the 2 steps individually too with different companies. I use FastHosts and for most businesses needs they do fine. If it's just a personal or small website then you can just buy the domain name and then use the free webspace you get from your ISP to host your website - you can just set up a re-direct to your own URL (such as your virgin/BT webspace). I do all that stuff freelance too tho - I do all the setting up of domain and hosting and sorting email accounts etc free and just charge a flat fee for the website. Edited July 22, 2008 by pmacFTO

Officially on the intraweb lol Website up and running and the host has a really good site building tool. Just having issues sending Email's from my Thunderbird account? I have 2 Google mail accounts going through my Thunderbird email and can receive email to my domain account but can't send? Looking inyo the SMTP server settings but not having much joy. I can reply to email's from the host site so isn't the end of the world until i sort it. Not that bad is it really lol PS a big thanks to you 2 gents for your help. Much Appreciated!! Easily done with all the seo sites out there, too many hats imho... Red, white, black thats before you even get a line of code down or any copy written!
