New Door Or A Panel Beater Job?

had a incident today involving my car would it be cheaper to get a new door rather then having it beaten back into place its dented in and i think it had a fold in the bottom of it and may need respraying??

can you look at it lets just say SOMEBODY "gemma" decided to reverse into my rear door twice denting it and ripping my side skirt off

she was reversing on drive and thought she hit the bush so went forwards then back again for seconds.aperntly was my fault because i wasnt parked straight on the drive MIRRORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

type in subaru doors its on page 4 half way down :) in silver..........they got both rear doors for sale

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to. I've not delved into the inside of the scooby door, but some other cars I've worked on have either a cage or locking plate behind the barrell. Sometimes you need a special tool to remove the plate so the barrell can be removed, other times, the plate can just be slid off to the side freeing up the lock.

If you have any trouble, give me a shout and I'll give you a hand. Just point out where Gemma has parked her car so I can put mine at a minimum safe distance. :)

if i remember correctly the handle is held in with 2 10mm headed screws ??? an a couple of rods to remove easy mate
