Baby / Child Car Seat....

anyone recommend a good one for the STi ?

he's about to get in the area for one that goes from the appropriate weight that will take him from now til either 4 yrs or 1yrs !

been looking at halfords...was looking for a isofix one for ease of use but they seem very few and far between.

also it needs to be able to work in a variety of cars....including some that may not support isofix ?

does this make a difference to the choice ?

thanks

i found halfords very unhelpfull, and they fitted one in mine, said it was ok...i checked after and you could move the seat from left to right without any problems....very unsafe.....they just didnt have a clue.....

i would personally go to mothercare, get them to fit a selection...you can pick the best and then go and order it online as you know it will fit......thats what i did and saved about £30..

Awsome glad to hear it :rotfl: Recaro all the way :rotfl:

When we were looking years ago I thought that although the Recaro looked pretty good, it didn't really seem to have the kind of support a 1 or 2yo needs in a car, esp when they fall asleep. Best bet is to try out a few seats in the car though. We got one that fitted the old scoob perfect, but is a crap fit in the new STi or the wifes Leon.

Would definitely recommend an isofix seat if you can find one though as you'll get a better/stronger fixing I'd have thought.
