kjdmk1 Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 A few of us from south Wales are planning attending the Autotuner performance show at Brands in Aug and we are looking for somewhere reasonable to stay. We require parking, secure as poss and within easy reach of a bit of nightlife for the Sat night. I have stayed in the Thistle at the circuit entrance in the past but its a bit quiet for the Sat night. Somewhere just off the M25 on route would be perfect. Any suggestions? Thanks
col_2 Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 the police normally park you up over night on the m20 for free i would suggest a travel lodge or something in maidstone, if your looking for night clubs they have a few, & its not to far from brands
Baz69birds Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Well there are a FEW places to stay with SECURE PARKING in BEXLEYHEATH.. MARRIOT HOTEL NightLife towards BEXLEYHEATH.. http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=54...p=newsearch.srf there is also Black Prince innl on the same Junction... nightlife towards OLD BEXLEY.. http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=54...p=newsearch.srf Both of these are off the are off the A2, with is 2 junction from the M25 (TOWARDS LONDON) old bexley & bexleyheath are great places to drink as thats where i srink...
timmy2take Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Isn't there a hotel before the entrance to Brands? I'd keep an eye out on travelodge etc. as sometimes they have rooms available from £19pn if pre booked, but they go quickly.
scoobypaul Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 there's a Holiday Inn down in wrotham (10 mins max from Brands) that is a 2 minute walk from a good chinese resturant called Mings, then there's a pretty big pub a couple of doors down from that. http://www.multimap.com/hotels/?title=Holi...c=GB|TN15%207RS if you're after a bit of a livlier night i'm not too sure what's around that area, sorry!

kjdmk1 Posted May 24, 2008 Author Posted May 24, 2008 Blimey Baz, are you trying to scare the poor bloke................You'd need a shrink after you visited Bexleyheath Whats a matter with Bexleyheath then All we are after is a bed for the night, with a safe car park and somewhere to have a few beers. We dont need any fighting we can get plenty of that back home
yogi- Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 (edited) I just moved from Bexleyheath and to be honest you would be better off going to Old Bexley as there are a few good restaurants there and a few nice pubs and a wine bar/club Edited May 24, 2008 by yogi-
granby Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 I know a nice little pub outside Brands Hatch, trouble is the guvenor loves a fight and make sure you read your road signs
Baz69birds Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 (edited) I just moved from Bexleyheath and to be honest you would be better off going to Old Bexley as there are a few good restaurants there and a few nice pubs and a wine bar/club Thats because you are SQUARE, & dont like anything LOUD... thats why you dont wash your wheels as the jet makes to much noise... BEXELYHEATH is A GREAT PLACE..... anyway the MARRIOT HOTEL, has underground parking with cameras, & card entry & exit.. Great pub inside... over road little oldy woldy pub, Great Pub... just down the road, you have 2 big food places & cinema, around the corner from there you have 11 PUBS... & 2 of which are open till 1pm, & another 2 take you to AMADAYOUS (spelling) & back....
