Brass Restrictor

Hi folks

Just looking for a bit of advice, i removed a couple of boost hoses around the turbo as they were a little worn and i replaced them with 5 mm Samco hoses.

I have only replaced two small ones from the actuator to the t piece and from the other side of the t piece. the problem is that now i dont seem to have much boost and i think i have lost the little brass pill.

Anyone any ideas of part nos? or where i can get a replacement

not sure on the part number but you can get them from the steelers

Hello there

I found the piece of hose that i threw out and managed to salvage the little brass pill with the hole in it and popped it back into the replacement pipe and hey presto i have full boost again! i can't believe that that little thing can have so much effect on the performance of the car.
