i know this might sound silly dunc but did ye no check your pics as you took them

also is there any chance we could get a photography thread or section for all the questions

i always find it very informative pickin up all the tips on photography

nope not silly at all, dunno WTF i did when i was messing about with the settings but none of the pics were comming up on the LCD i tried for a wee while trying to get the pic to show up but me being me soon got fed up and started firing away blindly thinking i could sort any glitches in photostudio :thumbup:

true, seems theres quite a few people on here now into there photography and a dedicated thread or section wouldent go amiss, i need all the help i can get lol :driving::banana:

i always check to see wot my pics look like once ive taken them just to see how they look, must admit that im just a point and shoot type so dont mess about with the settings too much

Are shooting in Manual mode with a pre-defined shutter speed + fstop ?

Have seen some people do this - then adjust the iso for the exposure.

Never really given that 'system' much time...

i'll throw a spanner in the works here then....99% of my pics are taken in "aperture priority" usually between f8-f10,i find it gives a bit of depth of field which you dont get on S/P ,i adjust accordingly to exposure as i go along .It means of course a bit of adjustments depending if a car is coming towards you or away from you,and panning can be a bit tricky sometimes ,but hay,ho! each to their own as they say, so if you get used to shooting a certain way ,and it works then stick with it. :thumbup:
