since i bought car its never opened cant unlock car from that side either wanna get it fixed now. anybody got any ideas or wanna gimme a hand tryiing

Hi m8 this sounds quite easy on my car the central locking dont work on the passenger side either i think its normal on all early classics as for the window it sounds like a switch is playing up or a wire has broken or come off, i would help you out but im working this weekend

Have you made sure you have the LOCK OFF to free the windows,

e.g next the the window switches is a LONG button, this locks & unlocks the windows,

once locked ONLY DRIVERS window will work.......

yes lol im not that silly lol nevevr worked since i got it guy suggested broken wire in door but wudnt no where to look or where the fuse is believe theres two boxes

i wasnt saying you was silly...

i know people who have pee'd & moan'd that it dont work or has got stuck & didnt know there was a lock.

door card easy to take off,

3or4 screws & then just unpop it.. & if Broken would be easy to see....

as for fuses... under steering wheel?? & one in engine bay by battery.

Undo the screw in the handle part. Pull the whole assembly towrds you and then gently lift it out. Then you should have access to the switch, might not even be connected?

but why would the lock not work the switch on my sude or passenger side doesnt work

ive opened that file just aload off jibberish

have you checked the wires going in to the door to check they havnt been broken

nope wudnt no where to look first lol

also spottted a transit van painted like the mystery machine of scooby doo couldnt get pic was going other way looked v gud identical to it
