Me and Matt ( he was in my dads scoob) finally got out of Prodrive at 7.20, we went up through essex to, finally got home just after midnight. A blue stickered up classic was broken down on M40 and 2 young girls were standing on hard shoulder a little way down watching there VW beetle burning, Then on 25 a recovery truck went past (a few times) with a silver scoob on back. Really long day again. but worth it.

Was directly in front of scuzz and co sitting waiting to get out of prodrive, eventually id had enough and did a 3 point turn and went out the backway, past the control tower. I booted it out of the traffic and immediatly my windscreen fogged up so bad i had to crawl till it cleared, must have looked a right t**t. I passed loonybin twice on way back (love your graphics by the way) and then gurners close to home.

Did i flash? sorry if not, only i wasen't driving. My brother took over from me just before Oxford as I was feeling too tired & diden't want to risk it (it's great when you have another person with you who's insured to drive your car too lol).

I overtook you, gave you a little toot. Cant remember if you flashed, i think i was asleep by then. Drove on autopilot most of the way home.

What a good day one i will never forget. Followed col2 home most of the way passede each other one than the once in more than one traffic jam went anti clock on M25 one or two slow parts. Got home at 9:40 one and quarter tanks of fuel and 332 miles later. One of the bast days of my life.

What a great day, for a great man and a son who's life was to short.

Leaving lanark was an emotional sight and made me proud to have taken part, people lining the roads applauding and waving, and all for a great man. i eventually got out of prodrive at 7.15 and went in the shell garage on the A4177, was in there for about half an hour just chatting to a few dudes from essex and some gezzer from south wales, then for me it was straight down the fosseway (A429) with a couple of blobs in tow, great weekend 1100 miles and well worth it, only problem was a burst top hose just outside lanark, but with loonybins help and a few rolls of tape...sorted. oh and the small detour when we left banbury on the way to warwick, we ended up in a garden center with 30 others, wot a laugh... also had a chat with VBH walking back to the scoob.

was anyone else parked in isofts carpark at prodrive, did you hear the noise when we all started up to leave, what a sound to savour, it bounced around the buildings and made the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

Thanks to all you guys and gals for the convoy up sunday, great fun. wouldn't have missed it for the world.

:D with Granby.. we endured a lot: early morning / fog / rain / waiting / Daz driving in a straw hat & gloves / more waiting and getting home totally stuffed.......BUT what a great day that we all will remember, and we shall always remember that day. cos there will never be another day that will involve sooooooooo many Scoobies !.

Another badly organised event which seems to be the norm with car events, but that doesn't stop us from making the most and having a great time, well done to KS for showing what a tight bunch of friends we are :)

Why was it badly organised?
