dazzlers82 Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 Why don't we have bad weather in the summer yes but not to warrant another sert of wipers lol ive only just changed mine
Scooby Hoo? Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 I've got them Ian and so has Baz. Mine have never see rain so I wouldn't know if there are any good . Ask Baz
granby Posted May 11, 2008 Author Posted May 11, 2008 Mine have never see rain so I wouldn't know if there are any good . And never will, you only need them for the MOT
Scooby Hoo? Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 And never will, you only need them for the MOT Sam bought them for me as a Christmas present because he wanted my old/unused ones The MOT tester was impressed
HairyDJ Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 had them on mine for quite a while - really weird sensation if you get a run where you don't touch the wipers and let all the little droplets wobble up the screen and vanish. Just like using Rain-X and having the wipers keep it freshened up The only prob I found was that when I hit the screen wash in summer, there seemed to be some problems with getting the screen clear quickly - almost as if the silicon coating and the detergent were fighting. The effect was to give me an almost cloudy smearing of the whole screen for quite a few seconds - OK if parked, but nasty at speed or in traffic. These really need replacing, so may well go grab the group buy. Couldn't get them for the rear of the wagon - just the front pair. Also found that the sweep pattern was slightly different, so hang on to the old originals to use for the next replacements if you revert later.
Pele Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 Well I had them on last scooby and was waiting for a group buy to come up I'd recommend them
Scooby Hoo? Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Hay Granby is that price per blade or as a pair. Have seen the refill blades on an American site at a very good price , will try and find it again.
