mikkers Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Fantastic condition, not too sure that the other 34 are going to be that nice. I had an A reg MG Metro, that interior picture bought back some memories, had a lot of fun in it at 17 when it was going. That was the trouble, it never did go. Needed a new gearbox, then a new engine (which was £250 fitted lol) and was so unreliable. Well done for keeping it in that kind of condition, what like to know what that would make, its a curious choice of car to cherish, in my humble opinion.
Scooby Hoo? Posted May 13, 2008 Author Posted May 13, 2008 (edited) Fantastic condition, not too sure that the other 34 are going to be that nice. Bought it then 3 months later moved house and second son arrived so my wife said it was to much of a hassle to use. So it went into the garage and only came out for holidays etc. It was never worth any money so I never bothered selling it. Value has been quoted at £6000 + for A1 condition ( multi owners ) Where as mine is the only known one owner that has never had any refurb wot so ever. So I have been advised that it could realize £10,000 to £12,000. Thinking that I may not sell and that I may get Coys or Christy's to come and have a look, to reach a worldwide market. So I have been blown away, because like you, it's not an old cherished MG TC or TF and because no one thought to cherish them there are now very rare. I have received a firm offer of £6000. So watch this space as I have more people coming to look the weekend 24 25 26 May. Edited May 13, 2008 by Scooby Hoo?
