rodregos Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Hi, just got the blitz nur spec on my hawkeye GB270, but it is not long enough to pass the bumper and is burning the paint on it. Any help please. Looked for the metal plates that wrapped round the bumper but cant found a good one. cheers Karl
Jamessti Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 (edited) Are you looking for something like this? Heat Shield Damn just saw that you have a hawk eye not a blob eye. Don't know if it will fit. Edited April 16, 2008 by Jamessti
granby Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 H & S do spacers that fit between the centre section & the backbox (might need a couple at least by the look of it), also i think wagon rear bumpers are a bit longer than saloons hence the problem

yogi- Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Thanks guys ordered the heat shield and see if that fits a my SALOON Thats fine but if the tail pipe is too short, fumes can get into the cabbin??
rodregos Posted April 18, 2008 Author Posted April 18, 2008 (edited) Brought the heat shield from scoobyparts but it doesn't fit so taking the car to H&S tomorrow so they can lengthen the cnetre section of the exhaust. So that should do the job. Edited April 18, 2008 by Rodregos
