s1mon Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Hi, As a new member, I'd like to know where people take their cars for servicing? My MY00 Classic was taken to Arden Bridge Subaru by the previous owner. I'd like to know what serving options are available to me. I've considered Powerstation, or further afield, Scoobyclinic or Roger Clark Motorsport.
Deb Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 We take ours to showells subaru dealer in lye stourbridge, never had any probs there, 01384 422488 hope that helps
tdt Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Since Brian left I wouldn't touch Showells with a barge pole. It's a little bit of a drive out, but I use Crossroads near Stratford. The Prodrive guys take their cars there, do Warwickshire Police (for their scoobs anyway) so they've got to be doing something right!
slimboyfat Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 I've taken my Classic MY99 to Arden Bridge and I was happy with the service and knowledge the guys seemed to have. I have only been once for a break pad issue and they were great.
rowley177 Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Theres a specialist in Worcester area now. used him a few times now. I dont have his details to hand so just PM me if you want them.
damo666 Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 i would not touch crossroads after the car i bought from there after they kept fobbing me off and 2 others had the same problem aswell... silver scooby ecu they buggered the remap and claimed he needed new brake lines wen he took it to powerstation they said there talking crap just after your money. but at the end of the day it comes down to who you prefere me personal myself i know wats been done or if it comes down to big stuff powerstation but thats me at the end of the day. just ask questions and see how they answer that will tell you how good they are and ask to see your old parts you are within your rights too.
