WElcome mate, but you should have gone Newage before Evo.

I hope you get a goodun but bear in mind an evo is no more reliable than a scoob (although it sounds like you got a bad un). Even if it's totally reliable they still cost loads more to run and look after than a reliable scoob, service every 4.5k inc. ayc fluid change.

The joys of performance cars.

In saying that i know a of a guy who got rid of his P1 for a E46 M3 and finds the M3 loads cheaper to run.

Sometimes it's just your luck, you could pay a lot thinking your getting a top notch car and it proves unreliable.

Sh@t happens, good luck with whatever you get m8.

Would't mind an evo 6.5 myself...

Just watch you aren't jumping from the frying pan into the fire mate... it sounds like you've had to swallow pretty much all the bills that a classic scoob is going to throw at you, so IMO, might be worth sticking it out for a bit longer.

If you are buying an EVO, then I'd suggest joining the MLR (Mitsubishi Lancer Register) and finding a genuine Owners Club car rather than one from the classifieds.

Cheers,

Grant
