uRaBu5 Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 After a long day at work. Heading home at about 7.20 and passed a Police Van at Causewayside. It pulled out and followed me for the next mile before sticking on the blue lights and full beam. I thought it must be for the number plate. But no, one very friendly gentleman just making sure it was me, the owner, driving the car. Told me to keep the car safe as they were getting fed up chasing thiefs in stolen ones. And PS you’d better get the plate fixed, that S looks awfully like a 5 – and he is right, from certain angles it does. Derek

micra_wrc Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Thank goodness for a good copper............ not many left agreed. reminds me of a pull I got where I was asked to get into the police car... nothing sinister, they were just checking that the car belonged to me cos a blue classic was stolen the night before and were checking my details tied into their details.

I did post up a while ago telling folk that sccobs would be getting stopped a lot more for random checks. This is due to pond life stealing them a lot just now.. Good advice on the plate and certainly not a daft copper then
fraser87uk Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 WOW a nice copper. Hope you put him in a jar, those things are rare! I got pulled in my last car (nissan silvia s14), thought i was up **** creek as i had just stuck the a*** out in it (accidently of course...) past them. The guy pulled me over and i expcted the worst when he turned and said "Nice car there. Is it a Skyline?" They just wanted to look at it, even though they didnt know what they were looking at.
