Coilover Question?

found a coilover kit that i would like fully adjustable e.g hard/soft and ride height and so on but they dont come with top mounts ??

do you need top mounts for the front and back???

and can u use standard ones if there is even such a thing or where do i get them from ???

Some kits you use your standard ones but for the best amount of adjustment you can buy alloy ones, there are some on scoobynet for sale at the moment :)

Do you really want coilovers, i suspect even on the softest setting they will still be a lot firmer than the springs you have at the moment and you'll feel every little bump

Hope you like a rocky ride!!! I used to have AVO coilovers on my old MK5 Escort RS2000 it used to corner like it was on rails but when it used to go over bumps it used to shake my fillings out! its up to you mate your car will go round corners well but ride comfort goes out the window :thumbup:

just want to be able to lower it without rubbing and have it not lean so much.i usuall go around bumps anyway and try to miss them speed bumps im usually over taken by a snail lol
