Ideas And Suggestions

Recommended Posts

This area has a large amount of scoobys, but very few seem interested in going to a local regular meet or going to any of the jap shows.

Does anyone have any Ideas or suggestions to help get this area more interested, Ive spent time and a bit of money printing off flyers, placing them under wipers, but had no response.

Anyone from around the area that has a scooby, and maybe has mates with scooby's then please get in touch with me, and see if we can get things moving and get a regular meet up and running.

Where would you guys like to meet up on a monthly basis? (Please remember some peeps may bring there families with them so a child friendly place is a must)

What day suits you best?

what time suits you best?

All input appreciated

monthly basis is good you meet at powerstation then go on for a meal somewhere for example strawberry fields which has got a play barn for the kiddies not the adults lol.

Thanks for the input damian :( You know your always welcome ed :D

It has always been the idea to have a regular monthly meet

Location is always going to be a difficult one, some people will have to travel a lot further than others, so we would be best finding a central location for a meeting point, else we might start losing owners before we really get things progressing.

The timberdine in Worcester is a good location, plenty of parking spaces, and provide a good menu for those that want something to eat, and there is a kids play area to.

Powerstation is a very good idea, and one to keep in mind, but at the moment we need to establish a monthly meet to get to know one another

I personally think that a weekend meet is usually best, i know it is for me, and by the sounds of it for damian to, we need more input from more of you

Hi Tony, I like your idea of using 4 different venues, hadn't thought of that one, means you dont get bored of meeting in the same place every meet, and i think that idea in itself would even out the mileage for people.

Possible locations?

Every first/last sunday of the month is another good idea, sometimes it clashes with the shows, but theres no reason for people not attending the shows to still go to the meets if they want to.

Ok then folks, how does this sound, Every first sunday of the month, at 1pm, with locations to be decided on?

We need some feedback from you guys, then we can get things rolling sooner rather than later

Tony,

Sounds ok with me, i know wjpc have had a few meets there, so im sure we would be ok to meet up there without any problems

Damian,

Forums are first and foremost the easiest and cheapest option for advertising a meet, alongside word of mouth that is.

The flyer i created before was lost when my old computer gave up in a puff of smoke!!

Im very busy at the moment, will be hard to spend some time re-creating one, but will see what i can do, unless you fancy having a go at it?
