Very good company to deal with mate,

would recommend them. Have a splitter from them

on the car the noo. Very good fitment just make sure you

remind them to put the fixings in the box with the splitter

As above... I've got an HT Auto's splitter on my bugeye.. Can't fault it.. Very similar to the official prodrive blobeye splitter at a fraction of the cost!

Never had a problem with them.. (infact I think they made a few posts on here recently)

Had a front splitter on mine from them, great fit and looked the business!

I say had since I cracked the corner and repaired it, but then on the Aberdeen Santa Cruise I noticed it was all looking a bit worse for wear, later on that week I removed it from the front in 6 bits!! :D

I blame the wife, she "thinks" she may have hit something one day on the way to work when I was away - wimmin!!!:D

However - I know that it did handle quite a bit of abuse before it gave up the ghost, couple of times it ended up on top of a kerb, once it even bent back quite a bit further than what I thought it would without any lasting problems!

Would get another one but with the prodrive springs on it was a bit of a PITA some places TBH.

Thanks for the responses guys

Was a bit worried about the vulnerability of it but my car needs it as the front looks a bit plain compared to the STI spoiler on the back. My car sits at standard height anyway so it's not too low.

Not trying to put you off but I've read so many threads on ScoobyNet about the cheaper splitters cracking, snapping etc. I've got the genuine STI splitter and have had no probs in over 2 years! Just a thought mate.

Have read the same stuff masel but think these were mostly the

fibre glass ones no ?? The HT ones are made of a flexi plastic - poly.... something,

I can certainly vouch for the flexability of them, you can pretty much bend them to the point

where the two ends meet and not a crack in sight - wayhaaayy ;)

Certainly no denying the oe stuff is great but at three times the price - wouldnae be me :rotfl:

I had a revolution splitter on my Hawkeye... and it was brilliant quality but cracked and shattered into a whole heap of bits when I caught it on a bit of road I was crawling over (c10mph). I now have the HT Autos plastic one fitted and quality is about 95% as good as the Revolution one but I am a bit more confident that if I was to kiss the same bit of tarmac that killed my original one, then I'd come out the other side with it intact with this plastic one.

Cheers,

Grant
