drunkenmunkey Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 After years of VWs - VR6s, air-cooled, gtis etc I'm after a Scooby. I've seen a 2002 wagon with 62K on the clock and am seriously thinking about buying it....but it's at an auction. My school p/t job was in an antique auction and I'm relatively 'au fait' with the whole car auction lark......but should I even consider it, or are there things that may be lurking that you might not see at quick inspection? Much appreciated Thanks
RA Dunk Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 i wouldent think theres any more risks buying a subaru from an auction than any other car especially a wagon
drunkenmunkey Posted February 4, 2008 Author Posted February 4, 2008 Cool, thanks for the response! I'll check for the usual then; clutch bite, accident damage and smoke, clicking from actuator and hopefully I'll be posting some piccies in the not to distant future.
