Here Grant are you still sporting the spoilerless

look the now ? Was wondering if you managed to

find out anything about the 'A Line' lip spoiler ??

Quite fancied it myself but no one seems to make them

(other than subaru). Did you ever regret taking the spoiler

off, in two minds wether to go ahead with it - the wrx ane's

just getting on ma nerves !!

I was... then I put my spoiler back on... then took it off... and its currently back on. I cant make my mind up, cause from some angles, the low-level WRX one really suits the car but from other angles I really like the no-spoiler look.

I've actually seen a few pics of the A-Line Spoiler on another Spec-D and to be honest, I'm not convinced by it. I'll go dig out the pics of it and fire them up for you. I also couldn't find anyone apart from Subaru that knew what I was talking about, ok, you could probably use another lip spoiler...... but chances are that it wont fit as well as something thats been designed for the Subaru, by Subaru themselves.

Here we go mate, give you an idea of how it might look... like I say, I'm not actually too convinced by it, but then havent seen one 'in the flesh' to make a proper decision about it. Its easy enough to remove your standard spoiler to see how you get on with it.. I used a packet of rubber grommets to pop into the holes on the bootlid to stop water getting in.

....and here are a few pictures I took of mine when I removed the spoiler completely.

Cheers Grant appreciate the snaps. The picture of the lip

square on the back looks quite good, but it's hardly

noticeable side on eh ?? Totally agree with the

'depends on which angle you look at the wrx one '

point of view; some days I think it looks quite good

but others I think I'd rather have something else -

even an STI one !! I know HT Auto's are quite accommodating

when it comes to taking on new replicas but I think there needs

to be sufficient interest for them to start a new item ??

Craig, keep me posted on the A-Line Lip thing with HT Autos if they consider doing it... the more I look at it, the more I realise that its quite nice.............. lol, and I'm getting the urge to remove my spoiler again looking at those pics.
