l210lnf Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 hey guys, fed up wi the wrx and wanting somthin a bit newer, found another one on the web and its supposed to have been owned by a sidc member and im just wanting to know a bit more before goin any further. heres the description: 2002 model Manual, 19,950 miles, White, 6 SPEED JDM this is the fully specced version 7 in extremely rare white, 313 bhp standard from Japan, 100 per cent original and not a mark on it.I look after this car and the car is never driven remotely quickly until the oil temp reaches 80 degrees. SIDC member owned.Alarmed Immobilised, Specially ordered and fitted STI 3 guage binical showing turbo boost, oil pressure and oil temp, very important guages to have fitted, but they are expensive, so hardly anyone has them fitted. I uderstand how important they are, that's why they are there. Car only used at weekends. Remember 10,000 pounds difference between the slow WRX and the WRX STI when new. The STI is the FULL MONTY blue printed RED TOP engine and all other STI engineering and cosmetic benefits that's why there is so much of a difference in price new. Don't settle for second best, treat yourself to a JDM Subaru WRX STI. The ultimate Motor Sport Enthusiasts Accessory. Any inspection welcomed. or is there any other spec whitch is better? cheers guys..... n some lasses
oobster Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 How about GMac's nice modified blobeye STI? Andy F made some nice remarks about it. Alternatively, how about an 0-3plate red blobeye WRX?
G.Mac Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 what, this one? http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=109426 with AndyF's comment (on Scoobynet) Andy.F Scooby Regular Join Date: Jun 2002 Location: Worlds fastest Impreza at 210.2mph and 9.16@160 1/4 mile. Posts: 6,057 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #7 (permalink) This is one of the quickest original turbo'd cars I've mapped Even with a std fuel remap this would still make 350+bhp, from memory it was originally mapped for plain optimax and made around this figure. Production tolerances stacked up in this ones favour for sure Good luck with the sale. Andy Graeme Go on make me an offer
