deani_age Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Whilst I know it's a regular topic here on the Kent Scoobies Forum, but thanks anyway to Deano666 for all of his hard work getting my Trackday STI RA fully serviced and mechanically prepared for Brands on 22/02/07. Just a few things left to do. Take to Elite to get Coilovers (Camber) set up Modify Rollcage to accept Harnesses Fit rear seat / boot blanking panel Raise driver's seat (so I can see over the steering wheel) Fit harnesses Fit protection box over ECU's......................................................................etc.. .....etc.......etc......
Deano 666 Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Hi Dean H. You're more than welcome. It was a pleasure to work on such a beast! Can't believe the sheer power of it. I thought your previous track car (White Type RA) was fast after the modifications that we carried out, but this one is truly an animal !!!!! Gutted I'm going to miss one of the fastest Impreza's I've ever driven on it's first track day outing. It made my eyes water and gave me a strange feeling in my nether regions and that was with the boost wound right down !!!! Have a safe and fantastic day out. Buckle up man!!
20withascooby Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 sounds like a fast car you should try get some vids up if you have any so we can all see.what bhp is it
deani_age Posted January 17, 2008 Author Posted January 17, 2008 20withascooby said: sounds like a fast car you should try get some vids up if you have any so we can all see.what bhp is it I bought the car against spec whilst it was in Japan. At the time they claimed 400 BHP @ 1.0 Bar Boost, and 540BHP @ 1.8 Bar Boost, (don't know what fuel was used) Took it to GT-Art who tested it on various settings from 1.0 Bar Boost up to 1.8 Bar Boost. 1.0 Bar Boost - 299 Ft/Lb, 306 BHP ATW 1.5 Bar Boost - 371 Ft/Lb, 361 BHP ATW 1.8 Bar Boost - 409 Ft/Lb, 366 BHP ATW Running on V-Power with NF Octane Booster.

Now that I have another RA Trackday car, He's the only mechanic I trust with it. He always does a good job, and gives that bit of extra TLC.
