dipsy Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 (edited) Just look on your driver side strut and you will see the boost solenoid valve if it has 2 pipes 2 port ,3 pipes 3 port . Edited January 16, 2008 by Dipsy

Just checked i have only got two pipes on mine so it must be a 2 port one ..What do you need to remove if you are fitting a 3 port one when the old on only had 2 pipes .I can see on mine one goes in to the wastgate actuator and the other on goes in to the air inlet but do i need to remove a hose or somthing for the compressor outlet for the thrid hose??? Paul does yours come withe pipes etc and if you could find out about the wiring etc i will take it
P1_Paul Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Hi Sean, I don't have the piping, I only have what is shown in the pic. I'm sure any mapper if you speak kindly to them will fit this prior to mapping, I wouldn't stress about the fitment if I were you!

No it needs to be manually wired in. When I asked Andy before I had my car done, he seemed to know it would have to be wired in without prompting(no surprise! ) The only reason I didn't have it fitted was I didn't warn him prior to the mapping session, so he didn't have the piping to fit it. Also my car didn't have a problem holding boost so no need for it. Email Andy and ask, he's very good at getting back to you. Edited January 16, 2008 by P1_Paul
